• School Quality

At the heart of our mission is the desire to provide a quality education to each student in Arizona, no matter where they attend school. The Center’s research team supports this goal by publishing analyses of Arizona school quality, providing tools for researchers, and promoting research-based advocacy that improves student outcomes. Our expertise has been employed for a number of non-partisan, external reviews and evaluations of Arizona’s key education policies.

Our Work

Inform Policy

Inform Policy

The Center’s research addresses a broad range of education policy topics. The Center’s staff provides technical assistance and guidance to a variety of stakeholders like the Arizona Department of Education, Expect More Arizona and A for Arizona. Our evaluation of Arizona’s school accountability system provided valuable support for legislative changes which resulted in a new statewide accountability system.

Education Evaluator

The Center works collaboratively with the Arizona Charter Schools Association and Expect More Arizona to collect and report school level data for all public schools in Arizona. The Education Evaluator is an easy to use, interactive mapping tool that provides critical information for parents and community stakeholders regarding commonly agreed measures of school quality.

Measuring Quality

Measuring Quality

The Center is a leader in evaluating and reporting school level measures that can inform policy and provide stakeholders access to valuable data.
