CINDI WINGFIELD, M.ED.
Cindi joined the Arizona Charter Schools Association in 2015, bringing with her 21 years of experience as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, professional development trainer, and leadership team member in both Arizona and Colorado. While in Colorado she lead 52 district schools in meeting rigorous Annual Measurable Achievement Outcomes for over 2000 English Language Learners, and provided district-wide training to teachers during implementation years for both Common Core and Colorado English Language Proficiency standards. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Association for Bilingual Education, and was selected as the Colorado representative for the World Class Instruction and Design (WIDA) consortium’s Assessment Committee in Washington D.C. Most recently Cindi supported urban schools in downtown Phoenix as both an administrator and instructional coach where 88% of her teachers met or exceeded growth for their students as measured by Galileo. Cindi earned her M. Ed. in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University, her B.A. in Multicultural Education from Arizona State University. She also holds several certifications as a trainer. Cindi is passionate about utilizing data and research-based practices to support educators and students in closing achievement gaps, and she holds an indelible belief that all teachers and their students are capable of learning and succeeding every day.
